ABOUT

STORY - From air to earth

From the aviation industry, I change paths to reconnect with the tactile world. In 2022, I trained at Faktoria School in Biarritz, where I learned wheel-throwing from two skilled potters, Karine Aresti and Emeric Bodé, who generously shared their skills with me.

ARTISTIC APPROACH – Textures and Shades

Now based in my studio in Nantes, I focus on exploring textures and raw surfaces, which define the essence of my creations. My pieces, primarily wheel-thrown in stoneware, reflect my attraction to natural materials and authentic finishes.

THE GESTURE - Craft and materials

Everything begins with the gesture.
The contact with the clay, the repetition of movements, the precision required by wheel-throwing—each step is a moment of presence.
Working the material by hand means listening to what the clay allows and what it resists.
Ceramics preserve the trace of movement, capturing a moment when the material was still malleable. Each piece carries this memory of the gesture, keeping the material alive.
